Cross-industry research: finding methods that can be reused

Problems in different industries have different backgrounds, but research methods can inspire each other. Really valuable migration comes from understanding constraints rather than simply using terminology.
Identify common structures first
Data quality, experimental design, anomaly detection, and process traceability exist in multiple areas. Find common problems first, and then determine whether tools and methods can be reused.
Respect industry differences
Validation cycles, fault tolerance requirements, and data retrieval conditions can be completely different. What works for rapid experimentation in one area may not be suitable for critical processes in another area.
Verify with small questions
Select tasks with clear boundaries and checkable results to carry out pilot projects. Record what assumptions need to be changed when migrating the method, and then decide whether to extend it to more complex scenarios.
